U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum

During this unit, students learn about the Holocaust while examining questions of prejudice and oppression.  At the Museum, students explore "Daniel's Story," an interactive exhibit that tells the story of the Holocaust from the perspective of a child growing up in Nazi Germany.  Back in the classroom, students create commemorative tiles in honor of victims of the Holocaust (see below for four students' work).
