Live It Learn It provides DC public school students with rigorous hands-on learning opportunities, tailored to academic learning standards, to boost student achievement and motivation.

How it works:

1. Live It Learn It partners with Title I DC public schools to provide academic enrichment to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade  students.
   
2. Over the course of the school year, students participate in academic trips in three core content areas:  History & Government, Science & Nature, Art & Culture.
   
3. Live It Learn It supplements each trip with two classroom sessions:  a pre-trip lesson to provide students with background knowledge, and a post-trip lesson to reinforce  concepts learned. 
   
4. Live It Learn It provides comprehensive curricular materials, and handles all transportation and logistics.
